01 Does Inch Schedule require an internet connection?
No. Inch Schedule works fully offline. You only need a connection to download the app from Google Play in the first place.
02 Do I need to create an account?
No. Inch Schedule has no account system. You can start using it the moment you open it after install.
03 How do I move my schedule to a new phone?
Use the Export feature in the app's settings to save a backup file. On your new phone, install Inch Schedule and use the Import feature to restore from that file. Because all data is stored locally, this is the only way to transfer between devices — there is no automatic cloud sync.
04 Why aren't my class reminders showing up?
Class reminders rely on three things being enabled: notification permission for the app, exact-alarm permission (on Android 12 and later), and battery-optimization exclusions on some devices (especially Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, and Vivo). Check Settings → Apps → Inch Schedule → Notifications, and consult your device's battery-saving documentation if reminders are still not arriving.
05 How do I delete all my data?
Uninstall the app. Because Inch Schedule stores nothing on our servers, uninstalling removes all of your data from the only place it ever existed — your device.
06 I have a feature suggestion. Where do I send it?
Email support@swayge.com with the subject line "Feature suggestion." We genuinely read these. We don't promise to build every requested feature — Inch is intentionally small — but every suggestion shapes how we think about the next version.
07 Found a bug. What information should I include?
The most useful bug reports include: your device model and Android version, the version of Inch Schedule you're using (visible at the bottom of the Settings page), and a step-by-step description of what you did and what happened. Screenshots help when something looks wrong.
08 Is Inch Schedule available on iOS?
Not yet. We are working on an iOS version. If you would like to be notified when it is available, email support@swayge.com and we'll add you to a quiet, low-volume list (no marketing, just one launch message).
09 How is Swayge funded?
Swayge is bootstrapped — we have no investors and no advertising revenue. Inch Schedule is free; future apps may have optional paid features. We keep things small on purpose, so we don't need to grow at any cost.
One channel. Read by a human.
Email is the only support channel we currently offer. We don't operate a phone line or a live chat. We try to respond within two business days. If you haven't heard back in a week, please re-send the message — occasionally something gets lost.
